Cavelossim Overview

Cavelossim Beach is located on Goa’s central coast.  Known as a popular resort destination in India, Cavelossim attracts tourist visiting from Northern Europe.   The beach is long, wide and clean and has scattered beach shacks serving up food and drink. There are options to rent beach beads and umbrellas on Cavelossim.


The main street of Cavelossim is lined with shops and stalls selling everything from spices to clothing.  On this street you can also find the shopping center Luisa by the Sea.   Mabor beach is directly to the south and Varca beach to the north.


Getting in and out of Cavelossim is best by taxi, however bus service is available from Margao.

Things to do in Cavelossim

There is lots of activity on and off the beach at Cavelossim.  On the beach water activities and boat rides are available and off there are restaurant, clubs, bars, and casinos.

Fishermans Wharf – located next to the Holiday Inn, this is a popular restaurant right on the river serving up drinks, the catch of the day and live music.
