Colva Travel Guide

Colva Overview

Colva Beach is located on the central coast of Goa, India.   It’s a somewhat commercial beach like Baga Beach and Calangute Beach, however still holds one to its fishing village roots as fishing boats line the beach.   Popular with Indian tourist, Colva offers several water sports such as parasailing, water skiing and jet skiing.

Colva has warm water with small waves that make it excellent for swimming.  Beach huts and restaurants line the back of the beach and offer up beach beds and umbrellas for reasonable prices.

Located only a few Km from the city of Margao, transportation in and out of Colva is easy.  Bus lines run from Arambol via Panjim in the north and Palolem in the south.
