Los Roques
Overview
Consisting of a chain of enchanting tropical islands, Los Roques can be found in the Caribbean Sea and is situated approximately 165kms to the north of mainland Venezuela. This part of the world is famed for its intense natural beauty, and people travel here from all over the globe to soak up the sun on one of the pristine sandy beaches and to explore the colourful coral reefs.
Los Roques is steeped in rich history, which is evident in the area’s buildings and cuisine. Seafood plays a large part in many of the dishes here, which are flavoured with local spices and served piping hot with unique flare.
