Morjim Travel Guide

Morjim Overview

Morjim beach is located on the north coast of Goa just south of Aswem beach.   A bit more laid back than the already laid back Aswem beach, Morjim is the perfect place to relax and stay in nice affordable budget accommodation.   Morjim is popular with long-term visitors because of its peacefulness and affordable beach huts.

In the early evening, around 5 to 7 o’clock, the wind picks up and Morjim beach suddenly becomes active with kite surfers.   Because of Morjim’s wide beach kite surf instruction is quite popular here. Watch students practicing their kite handling on the sands before hitting the waves.
Arriving in Morjim is probably best by taxi, however the local bus does stop. Pick the bus up in Arambol, Anjuna or any of the neighboring towns.   Once in Morjim scooter and motorcycle rentals can be arranged by one of the local hotels or restaurants.
